X take up could be BIG
Around 50 percent of iPhone users want the new iPhone X according to a consumer survey conducted by research company MaruUsurv.
A further 39 per cent want to find out more before purchasing. In addition, around 14 per cent of Samsung owners said they would want to upgrade to the new iPhone X.
The results show that young users aged between 18-24 are three times more likely to upgrade to the new iPhone X in comparison to the older generation.
Furthermore, 65 per cent of Samsung owners said that they were put off by an iPhone because of its expensive price tag.
Priorities for iPhone users include increased battery life (70 per cent), wireless charging (57 per cent) and fast charging technology (52 per cent).
Level of interest in the new iPhone X features was high with only 14 percent claiming to find nothing appealing about the new device.
MaruUsurv head of research, Guy Potter said: “The appetite for a high-end smartphone is not waning at all. If anything consumers are more wedded than ever to the idea of owning the latest phone, with as advanced features as possible.”
